First Swim

We went to the Lehi pool during the day on New Years Eve, we always have so much fun at this pool. Quincee seemed to enjoy the water. I think she got a little cold but she never complained. I think we might have another little fish on our hands!

Elaines Bday

We had a great time with the Kennard family celebrating Christmas and Elaine's birthday. Dinner and cards is her style. We sure love her and we are grateful for her love and example.

Rachels Baptism

We have so much fun when Rachel is in town - they are usually visiting during the Christmas holiday. This year Rachel was baptized while she was here. We were so happy that we were able to be there on her special day.

Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve we went with my family to Temple Square. We rode the frontrunner train to downtown. This was our first time on the train. It was great to relax and enjoy the warm ride. On the way home we missed the train by temple square so it took a little while longer to get back to Lehi. All the kids were a little cold, a lot hungry, and a lot excited about Christmas. When we got home we had fondue for dinner, opened our new pajamas, the girls opened their build-a-bear gift they gave each other then headed to bed. So much fun!

Brandalyn and Quincee - 9 weeks old

Quincee stayed pretty warm inside Gordon's coat.  Her legs felt a little cold to me, but she wasn't complaining.

Super Hero

After seeing the movie "Frozen" Anastyn had fun pretending to be a super hero! 

Sunday before Christmas

Its tradition to get a new dress to wear the Sunday before Christmas and take a family picture in front of the Christmas tree. The lighting is never perfect but the girls look great!

2 Months Old

Quincee is 2 months old, she is an awesome baby now. 

Wears size 1-2 diapers
Wears 3-6 month clothes
Just started smiling - I love it
Sleeps good still - at least 6 hours at a time, eats then goes back to sleep for at least 3 hours
Still loves to be up on my shoulder
Hates tummy time
Still eats every 2-3 hours (closer to 2)
Still doesn't love the binki but will take it sometimes
Sleeps in our room still
Will take a bottle for Gordon while I'm at work
Takes baths in the bathtub now

A Dance Recital

Anastyn always has a in class dance recital at Christmas time. I always love to watch her dance. She is so lit up and happy when she is dancing. Today was no exception! She had so much fun. The favorite dance was a silly dance to "What Does a Fox Say." We love Miss Bobi. 

Annie, Anastyn, Lila and Alayna -these are Anastyn's best little friends.  We take turn driving to dance then having lunch and a play date afterwards.  The girls always look forward to Monday dance days.  They all play so well together.  It is so much fun.

8 Weeks Old

Quincee is 8 weeks old. Time is going way too fast!

Sweet Spirit

Poor little Quincee has baby acne. Thanks okay though, we still love her! Taeya says Quincee is "the heart of our home" cause we all love her so much! Quincee has brought so much love into our home. I'm so grateful and blessed for this sweet spirit that has joined our home!

Santa Visit

In previous years we've been able to visit Santa at Ultradent for Gordon's work party. This year we had to go visit Santa at the mall. After Taeya and I went to the Nutcracker we met up with Gordon, Anastyn, and Quincee.  We had to get a photo of Quincee and Santa. The girls are so excited!

Nutcracker

In September Taeya started taking Ballet at Jacqueline College of Ballet. She is in level 1 and is really enjoying it. Her teacher, Rachelle, was the principle dancer in the Nutcracker. I thought it would be fun for Taeya and I to go on a little date and watch the ballet. We took Papa and Nana with us. We all loved it. We might just have to make this a yearly tradition. 

Taeya was pretty excited because I bought her a nutcracker.

Cute Outfit

I love this outfit that we got from my Aunt Connie. She looks so darn cute in red. Her poor little face still has "baby acne" but that okay. She's so adorable!

Quincee - 7 1/2 weeks old

Snowman

Anastyn made this cute snowman at school. She really wanted Taeya to see it, but she also really wanted to eat it. She suggested that I take a picture. Cute snowman made by my cute girl!

Christmas Card

Noelle did an amazing job taking our pictures and making this Christmas card. She is so talented! I love how it turned out. Merry Christmas to all! 

Nativity

Every year Alpine does a live nativity. You are taken by horse trailer to some property in Alpine. They have replicated the town of Bethlehem. You walk through the town and see some of the things that would've been happening as Mary and Joseph entered the city, you end in the stable with Baby Jesus. It's pretty cool. With Quincee so little we debated going, but we went and I am so glad we did. This is a cool experience every year and helps us get into the Christmas spirit. It was a freezing cold night! We bundled up and we were still cold. Hot Chocolate after sure tasted good and felt good too.

Melting Pot

We told the girls about the Hansen Planetarium in downtown Salt Lake and they were really anxious to go and visit. We had a great family night walking around the Planetarium. Instead of going to one of the laser shows we talked the girls into walking to The Melting Pot for some dessert. They liked the trade off and gobbled down the chocolate! Gordon was trying out a crazy diet for work so he was so awesome to watch us eat and drink his water!

I could just stare at this sleeping beauty all day long! She got all tuckered out from playing. She is so perfect and we all love her so much.

 

Quincee - almost 6 weeks old

Family Pictures

I debated about what to do about family pictures this year. With a new baby things always get tricky. I decided to go for an outdoor photo. As the day got closer the temperatures got colder! We ended up braving the cold for these pictures. It was a super fast shoot since it was only 10 degrees! Anastyn forgot her jacket and poor little Quincee was freezing. Noelles fingers were frozen after just a minute of taking pictures. Thankfully was got some great shots. We bribed the girls with yogurt at "Orange Leaf" after pictures. Not sure why they chose something so cold but that's what they wanted! Thanks again Noelle. 

Anastyn had been crying in the car right before we took this shot cause she was freezing!  We let her wrap up in a blanket and borrow one of my scarfs.  Burrrrr!
