2 Wheeler Bike!

I came home from work Saturday afternoon and Taeya had learned to ride a 2 wheeler bike! She was so proud. I think dad was pretty proud too!

Missing Phone

My Phone often comes up missing. I have little hands that enjoy playing with it. I found it in Anastyn's little hands this day. Not sure why she chose the animal bin in the playroom, but I thought it was cute!

More Snow Fun

One more snow day, we just had to take advantage of some more snow fun. Taeya built a snowman family while I played with the little girls. It was a bright day, we had to wear our shades!

St. Patrick's Day

This year St. Patrick's day was extra exciting. The Leprechaun finally found us! He wasn't going to come but at the last minute made an appearance. The girls followed a sparkly trail to the basement where he had left a treasure. Lots of candy, donuts and juice for breakfast, and Cinderalla and Ariel polly pockets. My girls are way too spoiled!

Taeya celebrated St. Patrick's Day at school on Friday the 16th.  She took Mrs. Reiber a little treasure.
We had fun hair for the day too.
The girls following the trail the Leprechaun left.
Cute Anastyn
This is what was at the end of the sparkly trail!
The girls love gum so they were extra excited about a little easter gum.
They were happy with the polly pockets too.
Anastyn all ready for the day - this is the shirt I made for her last year.  We made it work for this year too!

Another Half Birthday

Anastyn's is now 2 1/2. Since we celebrated Taeya's half birthday we had to have a little celebration for Anastyn too. She is so much fun. We started potty training on March 1st and she is doing pretty good. She has a hard time with the poop thing. She's not afraid of it, she just doesn't want to do it all of the time in the toilet. She's definitely not totally trained yet, but no more diapers! She didn't want to put diaper on at night so I didn't fight her, I just prepared myself for an accident. So far she has only had 1 during the night. I probably don't sleep as well because I jump to her room everytime I hear a noise to make sure she doesn't need to go potty.  When she goes potty she gets a gumball out of the machine.  She loves that.

She talks in full sentences, loves to sing, is happy most of the time, loves to play at the Bailey's, loves "big girl nursery," is my little shopping buddy - and she is actually not too tricky to take to the store, she loves to dance, and is starting to really like dressing up. She loves wearing nightgowns to bed.  She loves donuts, chips and cheese (nachos), chips and salsa(shalsha), turkey, blueberries, yogurt, uses the word "they" instead of "them" (for instance, if you were using the sentence "Where are they?" She would say "Where are them?" it's pretty cute). She hates to have her hair combed but if I ask her if she wants it cut she refuses. She loves to watch any of the Barbie movies. She's not quite as interested in Dora as she was before. If you ask her who her favorite princess is she will tell you "Cinderella." She loves the color purple and insists on having that color if possible. She still has her binki at bedtime. She doesn't take naps anymore because she wouldn't go to sleep before 11:00pm. We loves to get Taeya from school. She is so much fun and we love her so much!

Today was a good hair day - she let me do something fancy!  I stuck her in front of a movie and she did great.
Anastyn and Alayna - we had brownies and ice cream that night with the Bailey's.
I got her a new swimsuit for her "birthday" - she loves it!
We love this "big" girl!

Duckies!

When I was growing up we had pet ducks a few times. Some of the ducks lives ended tragically with the neighbors hunting dog busting through the fence, other times they flew away. We got lucky with a male and female mallard one time and they even even had baby ducks, that was super fun. They always seemed so easy, you put out some food and change the water occasionally and that was it. So I got the brilliant idea to get some baby ducks for the girls just for easter. They are so excited! My plan is to take them to a pond when they get big.  Maybe it was a bad idea.......we'll see.

Taeya picked out the blackish one and named her "Blackberry."  They yellow one is Anastyn's and we named her "Daisy."

They girls are so excited to have little baby ducks!

Taeya with Blackberry

Anastyn with Daisy - I hope she survives.  She has already been dropped several times, poor thing.

Taeya rushed home from school the next day to hold both the ducks.  So exciting!

Puppy Girls

One of Taeya's favorite things to do is definitely have her face painted. Today after church the girls decided they needed to be puppies. Cutest puppies ever!

This past week Gordon was in Pennsylvania for work.  He brought Anastyn this cute little tigger.  We named him Paisley.  Anastyn is so nice to share him with Taeya.  Here is our pre-puppy Taeya.
We had a few extra  minutes before church today so we got to do one of our fancy hairdos.
My favorite puppies - Anastyn and Taeya
This puppy needed some daddy snuggles!

Sledding

We had another snow storm. This time we decided we better go sledding. Right behind the Hollingshead's house was the perfect little hill on the golf course. The girls (and Jack) had a blast and I got a good workout pulling them back up the hill!

Taeya and Jack
Anastyn and Alayna
Eating snow is apparently a must when we are in the snow!
Alayna just hung out in the tub and we pulled her around - such a cutie!
Silly Taeya
Anastyn had a great time.  She would laugh and laugh as she was flying down the hills!
