At the end of May we went to swim lessons and it was the first time the bubble was off the pool. Anastyn was having a great time playing on the slide after lessons. During her last slide there was a giant flash of lightening with an immediate extremely loud thunder. Anastyn was mid slide during the thunder and she came up out of the water crying hard and very frightened. We rushed everyone out of the water and got out of the lightening quickly. Since then she has been terrified of storms and lightening. We had several storms this summer and Anastyn spent many evenings hiding out and scared. Our trip to Lake Powell definitely did not help her fear. Finally in July after many storms in a row she overcame her fear and enjoyed playing out in a little bit of rain.
