Nakey Girls

The brake lights comes on and off randomly in the Durango but because of that it won't always pass safety and emissions, so my awesome mechanic, Garrick, took my car into his friend to see what the problem was and to get things done so I can get my car registered. It was a great excuse to go and spend the afternoon with Kelly and Jayne. Jayne and Anastyn have become such cute little friends this past year so they immediately went crazy and had a blast. It was a beautiful day so as Kelly and I are chatting inside and next thing we know the girls are in the back yard playing in the mud. Kelly and I both agreed that mud is a pain to get out of clothes so we stripped them down and let have a great time in the mud! They loved it.

How else do you get all the mud off?  The hose obviously!  She didn't complain, thankfully it was a nice warm day.

Cindy Rella Birthday Party

The months and weeks leading up to Anastyn's birthday we talked alot about what kind of party she wanted to have. She never changed her mind, she always said she wanted a "Cindy Rella Pary." Pretty much a princess party. The day after her birthday we had a party at Papa and Nana's. We had a normal yummy dinner but I made a cake and home maid ice cream and we added princess plates, napkins, and balloons to make it feel like a party. Pretty sure she loved it!

Here are a few things we love about Anastyn. She is a happy girl and so much fun to be with. I can take her to the store and she doesn't run off and she doesn't beg for everything in sight! She loves anything girly or shiny. She also loves jewelry, especially necklaces. She will only wear dresses. But not just any dress, it has to be a certain dress. She prefers a spaghetti strap, cotton type dress. She hates to have her hair combed and I think I threaten to cut it every day! She is a great little eater and will pretty much eat anything. She likes to sneak out of her room in the morning and scare us with a "boo," so we have nicknamed her "boo, boo." Some other nicknames are banana, Ana Banana, Sweetie, or Ana, or if you are the Baileys, Nana. She loves stories at night and always begs for another story, she'll say, "pretty please with a cherry on top, I'll give you two dollars!" She is a pain to get to bed at night, she comes out several times and doesn't seem to want to lay still long enough to fall asleep. My mom gave her a stuffed animal elephant that we have named "peanut" that now goes everywhere with us. She has been lost a few times, but thankfully we have always found her! She loves Dora and Barbie Princess Movies. She sings all day long, she knows all the words to "Hard Knock Life" from Annie and it's so cute to hear her sing it. She loves big girl nursery and is sad if she doesn't get to go for whatever reason. She loves to dress up in Princess clothes. She loves her dance class with Miss Bobi and it's definitely a highlight of the week. She still has swim lessons once a week and enjoys that also. She loves the color purple and the number 8.  She asks me all day long "mom, what time is it?"  Not sure why she cares but I answer her and she seems happy with the answer.  She misses Taeya during the day and is always happy to go pick her up from school. Anastyn melts my little heart because she is so sweet and easy. I sure do love her!

While we were watching Chantels kids in August she rode around on old little bike of the boys that had a broken pedal.  She loved it and got to be a great little rider.  So we got her her own "big girl" bike for her birthday.  She insisted it have purple on it!
My cute princess with all of her "Cindy Rella" birthday loot!

3rd Birthday at the Fair

Anastyn is three years old! Wow! Anastyn has been waiting for this special day for a long time. We stayed with tradition and spent the day at the State Fair. It was great. I think Anastyn felt like it was her special day. Here are a million pictures to tell you about her day:

My sweet birthday girls!  We found this dress a few days before her birthday and it is just her style - we have names this dress her "birthday dress."
First stop was the ponies!
Taeya liked the ponies too.
Silly Picture
I'm pretty sure that the main reason Taeya wanted to come to the fair was for the face painting.  This year Anastyn had to have her face painted too.  Such cute girls.
Dad's pretty cute too!
We gave in and spent a small fortune on wrist band for all the rides.  The funny thing is the girls wanted to just do the same things over and over!  They loved this little fun house, Taeya was so good to help Anastyn when she needed it.
Here comes the birthday girl!
They went on this roller coaster over and over and over!  They loved it every time.
Of course Anastyn loved the "Merry Going Round" too.
We stayed way too late because the girls were having so much fun, but now Anastyn is done!
Taeya was still going strong.  We let her go a few more times but then we needed to get the birthday girl to bed.  What a fun day.

Week In Idaho

I watched the Huntsman boys while the girls and Casey went to Figi. It was so much fun to be with the boys during the summer. We had tons of fun. We went bowling, swimming, to ijump, went to the skate park twice, Leo's, got ice cream a few times, and went to the movie Brave. It was so nice not to have to worry about getting the kids off to school, we did have to get kids to soccer games and practices, football practices and piano lessons. The bad thing was that Taeya was in her 2nd week of school and I hated having her miss. So she went home with dad. The boys missed her, and so did Anastyn and I. But she had a great week with dad. He got her off to school each day and then I arranged play dates after school. We were happy to have her back at the end of the week. We played hard to try to make up for her being gone during the week!

We all had a great time bowling.
