Easter

Easter morning was really fun this year. Taeya loved the eggs and had fun looking at her new treasures. Thank goodness she is young enough to let me put her hair in rollers before she got to go see the Easter basket!

Taeya checking out her eggs.

All dressed up and ready for church.
After church Scott and Lawni came and took a family picture for us.  We just had to get one of Taeya and Brielle.  They both looked so cute and springy!
The best we could do - Taeya was a little crazy after church.
We went to Cheryl's house late Easter afternoon and had a yummy ham dinner and a fun Easter Egg Hunt.  Taeya loved collecting all the eggs, or maybe she just loved the candy?!

St Patricks Day

St. Patrick's Day is one of those holidays that I end up just dressing in green and calling it a day. Maybe someday I will be one of those great moms who makes green pancakes for breakfast or something fun like that. But today was just a green day!

Twinners

When I go shopping I never know what size to buy so I end up buying a few then I come home and have Taeya try them on. Lawni liked the dress I bought and thought she would keep the smaller size for Brielle. These 2 little twinners are so adorable (even if Taeya does look a little crazy with her tattered hair)!

Obesession

Taeya has an obsession with sunglasses - she loves them and wants them to wear them all the time!

A Little Drive

We had a nice warm day and I thought Taeya should go for a little ride and get some fresh air!  She loved it.

Bubble Bath

Taeya loves to take baths. The other day I put bubbles in the water, filled the water up, then Taeya asked if I would turn on the jets. I left for a minute (which I know is a bad thing), and I came back to a tub full of bubbles. Taeya loved it! Mr. Bubbles really knows how to make bubbles!

Happy Birthday to Me

Happy 29th Birthday to Me! One of the only ways I could get Gordon to go to Island Park with me was because it was my birthday "celebration," so that was the main event. We did go to Park City to look around a little bit, and dinner at Olive Garden (it's becoming a birthday tradition). After dinner I got some good hugs out of my little Taeya. Birthday's just aren't what they used to be!

Island Park

For President's Day week-end the Huntsman's invited us to go snowmobiling with them in Island Park. We had a great weekend. We arrived in Island Park late Friday night and stayed until Monday evening. The cabin was so nice and cozy and the company was great also!

Taeya decided she really liked to wear goggles, doesn't she look cute!

On Saturday afternoon we all took a ride to the river. Taeya rode with Gordon and did great. She had a little windshield in front of her that helped keep the wind out of her face. She loved it and didn't even make a peep!

On Sunday, while Taeya took a nap, Gordon and I found a 3 mile x-country skiing trail. It was so beautiful with all the snow and the sun shinning. We even got a good little workout!

We did some sledding right down the street from the cabin with Collin and Cameron, too bad I didn't get any pictures of them!

The hot tub is where we spent a majority of our time. Taeya kept saying she wanted to go "wimming." I am sure the 100 degree hot tub wasn't the best thing for a 1 year old, but she loved it. She played with the Cinderella Polly Pocket and had a blast. It was great to be in the warm hot tub surrounded by all the snow.

Gordon and C.J. were a little crazy in this shot. They thought they would go lay in the snow to "cool off." I am so amazed by all the snow. It was piled so high everywhere. I don't think I will ever find my way back to that cabin because things will probably look so differently without the snow. Thanks Huntsman's to such a nice, relaxing, fun, weekend. We enjoyed a great cabin, great snowmobiling, great food, and great company.

Valentines Day

Gordon and I have come to the conclusion that unless you have a reservation, there is no point in going out on Valentine's Day! We had a pretty low-key holiday. Gordon got Taeya a stuffed Horse and me some beautiful roses. (Taeya really enjoyed those too)!

Little Grandma

My Grandma Fenn fell and broke her hip and she is now at a Rehab center in Orem. Taeya and I have really enjoyed spending time with her.

Taeya and Grandma Fenn after I curled Grandma's hair. My neice, Kenzly, named Grandma "Little Grandma" and it kind of stuck for the kids!
